I just wanted to write to thank you for the programme you put together for our group. It was great
fun and I think we all learnt a lot.
I don’t think we knew what to expect from Rapport Skills, but we all agreed when we met yesterday that we had enjoyed it and are more aware of listening to other people when we talk.
One lady in particular said she had had the most amazing conversation with her husband of over 20 years. She had used your ‘feedback and reframing’ exercise to talk to him about how she felt about something that was bugging her. He thought it was the best conversation he had with her in years!
We will definitely be passing your name on to other groups looking for a speaker. You mentioned in your talk about having rules for rows. Is this another talk that you give? If so, we may look at booking you again later in the year.

"I had been putting off going to see Stephanie about my spider phobia ever since I found out she
helps people with this sort of problem! After letting a strange man into my house to remove one however, I realised that it was getting out of hand!
I must admit I was very nervous about the process as I had heard of various methods of curing fears, none of which appealed to me, especially the total immersion theory. Stephanie reassured me that she did not use those methods and that I had nothing to worry about.
However, on arrival at her premises in Gloucester she had to remove a spider from the loo! I obviously attract them as apparently this is the first one Stephanie had ever seen there.
Stephanie was able to calm me down very quickly and at no time did I feel outside my comfort zone which was important to me. It is difficult to describe the process that Stephanie uses and it is probably different for each person she works with. What I do know is that I am able to be much more relaxed about the thought of spiders . I can even say the word without having the heebee jeebees!!
I was also able to remove a small one from my shower the other morning without assistance, which may not seem important if you don’t have a fear, but believe me it makes a big difference. A spider in my shower could ruin my day!!
I am not sure yet how I will feel when I come across a big one, but I am no longer checking my bedroom for them before I can go to sleep at night or worrying about turning on a light in a dark room in case there is one there. I have realised that actually they are more scared of me than I am of them and that they can’t actually see me unless I am very close to them. All very obvious points but I hadn’t looked at it that way before.
Thank you Stephanie, for showing me the way forward with this. It is making a real difference in my life and I know where to come if I need more help at a later stage."

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the session I had with you the other day. I think you realised how nervous I was when I first came to see you. You put me at ease almost immediately.
I don’t know why I was so nervous or what I was expecting to happen. I didn’t expect to feel so positive after just one session.
I have put all we discussed into action. I just feel more in control. I’ll be in touch in a few weeks for the next session.

I hope you remember me. I saw you last year when I was due to fly for a work trip and you helped me get over my fear of flying.
Guess what? it worked!
Since then I have managed to go on holiday without being stressed the whole time about the flight home.
Now, I feel it is time to tackle some other issues that I am sure you can help me with. I am hoping they prove as easy to deal with as the flying thing.
